Baltimore Ravens add veteran TE Ben Watson

The tight end position on paper for the Baltimore Ravens is loaded with talent from Maxx Williams, Crockett Gillmore, Dennis Pitta and Nick Boyle. But with Gillmore and Pitta dealing with their own respective injuries and Boyle being suspended for the first 10 games of the 2016 regular season, the Ravens add 12 year veteran tight end Benjamin Watson according to reports.

Watson will officially sign with the Ravens once free agency opens on March 9th.

Watson, who played the last three seasons with the New Orleans Saints, had a career year with Saints quarterback Drew Bress under center as Watson hauled in 74 receptions for 825 yards and six touchdowns in which all three categories either tied a career high or exceeded a career high.
