Baltimore councilman cites Raven Tray Walker's death as added motivation for city dirt bike park

City officials who advocate construction of a dirt bike track in Baltimore said Saturday that the death of Baltimore Ravens' cornerback Tray Walker in a dirt biking accident in Florida should serve as motivation for the city to create a safe place for young people to pursue the sport.

"Tray Walker, our cornerback of the Ravens, passed after riding on a dirt bike. This is exactly what we don't want to happen here in Baltimore," said Baltimore City Councilman William "Pete" Welch.

"We want to keep our families safe, our dirt bike riders safe, and our communities safe, all free from harm," he said.
