The Baltimore Ravens have the reigning MVP of the National Football League on a rookie contract. The time is now for the purple and black. Because they have put together a mostly young and affordable team, and they’re not paying their quarterback a huge chunk of the salary cap space, the Ravens have more financial flexibility than they have had since before the Joe Flacco era. Eric DeCosta has to go for it now, because he may never get a better opportunity to spark something special with a key signing or two.
