Ravens Sign OG Marshal Yanda To 4-Year Extension

The Baltimore Ravens have locked up one of the best young offensive lineman in the NFL for four more years.

Marshal Yanda signed a four-year contract extension, according to the team's website. Terms of the extension have not yet been released, but the deal will keep Yanda in Baltimore until 2019.

“My family and I are very excited to stay with such an incredible organization,” Yanda said. “We feel fortunate to have reached an extension, and I look forward to carrying on the Baltimore Ravens’ great tradition. Hopefully, I will finish my career as a Raven.”

Yanda was a third round pick in 2007 out of Iowa. He most recently signed an extension in 2012, a five-year deal for $32 million. He's constantly rated among the top guards in the NFL. The highest paid guard in the NFL, Logan Mankins, makes $8.5 million per year and wouldn't be a surprise if the Yanda gets an increase that will rival that.
