Ravens News: Ravens to work out Towson RB prospect Terrance West

In Ravens news today, the Baltimore Ravens and head coach John Harbaugh may be looking at the 2014 NFL Draft as a way of supplementing their running back corps.

Case in point may be former Towson running back Terrance West, who tweeted out on Friday that he will work out for the Baltimore Ravens on Monday --

Projected by most NFL Draft analysts to fall somewhere in the third or fourth round, CBSSports.com's draft profile of West lauds him as a legitimate potential threat at the next level: "Solidly-built throughout with good muscle build to shake off defenders. Smooth hips and lower body to stay balanced, working off and around blocks well with a good combination of power and foot quickness. Physical, tough and lowers his pads to finish through contact."

With the unsure nature surrounding the legal problems of Ravens starting running back Ray Rice, the Baltimore Ravens may indeed look to a halfback like Terrance West in the draft as a cost-effective way of building once again from the ground up.
