The Orioles lost again on Tuesday night, a 5-2 defeat to the Brewers. Their losing streak now sits at eight games with no end in sight. For the moment, however, the focus of most onlookers is not the team’s on-field play. It’s on the front office and what the heck they plan to do to get things sorted out.
Mike Elias—after being hidden away for a long weekend—spoke to the media on Tuesday in Milwaukee. There were not any grand takeaways from the session. Elias himself takes the blame for the starting pitching issues, but has no good answer as to why the rest of the team has been so poor.
