The first baseman went 2-for-3 with four RBIs and is hitting .591 this spring. Travis is expected to start the season in the Minor Leagues, but he has risen fast since being drafted out of Indiana University in 2014.
Meanwhile, the Orioles' No. 13 prospect, first baseman Christian Walker, ripped a three-run homer against Boston left-hander Henry Owens in the top of the third. Baltimore's Quincy Latimore added a solo shot in the ninth.
Owens, competing for the No. 5 spot in the rotation, had a tough day for Boston, giving up four hits and four runs over 2 2/3 innings.
