It was especially a nice night for John Means, who pitched 6.2 scoreless innings and hit a double! But before any of us could get any big ideas about how exciting it is to see pitchers hit, he also got thrown out at third base (like a nincompoop).
It was also a good night for Tyler Wells, who bounced back from two blown saves to get a 1-2-3 inning last night.
