Sunday’s Bird Droppings: Where Andrew Cashner has been traded to the Red Sox

Andrew Cashner will be a “Remember That Guy” type of player 10 years from now, and few will recall the time he spent with the Orioles. He pitched in 45 games over the last two seasons in Charm City, but he gave the black and orange pretty much exactly what was expected of him. The righty was right around a league average pitcher and he stayed fairly healthy while occasionally turning in brilliant performances on the mound for two terrible teams.

Now he heads to the division rival Red Sox, who desperately needed pitching help.
