It’s a bleak day today because last night was a dark night. The Orioles finally got their butts eliminated from the wild card race and in the process they guaranteed the first losing season since 2011. There’s no sugar coating to be done about that. It sucks, and so have the Orioles at times this year, especially, but not only, in the month of September.
The good news is that there will only be six meaningless games left to play, including this afternoon’s home finale against the Rays. You don’t even have to watch them!
