These are the guys that are good enough to warrant a spot in the starting lineup most days, but not quite good enough to compete for big-time awards. Add a dash of personality and entertainment as a finishing touch. Hanser Alberto is one of those players.
The O’s second baseman turns 28 years old today. What a career he has had up to this point. Alberto broke into the majors with the Rangers in 2015, but struggled to find a regular spot.
