Baltimore Orioles infielder Manny Machado received a four-game suspension and $2,500 fine for charging the mound during Tuesday's game against the Kansas City Royals, according to reports.

Machado is expected to appeal. Teammate Adam Jones told reporters Tuesday he would happily cover any fine.
There's also no word yet on discipline to be handed out to Yordano Ventura, who set off a bench-clearing fracas after he drilled Machado with a fastball to the side.
