There’s a consensus among columnists and rankers this week, and it’s decidedly not in the Top 10. Let’s take a look at the media power rankings for Week 15.
MLB has revamped their presentation of the Power Rankings, and now only go to 20 places. The O's were ranked 10th in the Experts poll (75% weight) and 11th in the Fans' Poll, so they are 10th overall. No change from last week.
Third week in a row for the O's to be in 11th place, despite the 3-10 tumble going into the All-Star Game break. "Manny Machado has clearly been the Orioles' best player this season and must be considered an AL MVP candidate.
