The Orioles placed designated hitter Mark Trumbo on the disabled list with right knee inflammation on Monday. The club also reinstated outfielder Adam Jones from the bereavement list and recalled outfielder John Andreoli from Triple-A Norfolk.
Trumbo said he's had good and bad days with the knee issue, which first cropped up in late May.
"Most days are pretty rough, though. I'm not able to really run too well," he said after the Orioles' 8-0 loss to the Indians on Sunday.
