Orioles To Wear Stoneman Douglas-Branded Caps To Honor Shooting Victims

The Orioles announced Wednesday that players will honor the victims of the Florida mass shooting on Friday by wearing baseball caps donning the school's baseball team's logo.

Officials said players will wear the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School baseball team logo for the Stoneman Douglas Eagles on Friday during both pregame activities and the 1:05 p.m. game against the Tampa Bay Rays at Ed Smith Stadium.

All Major League Baseball teams will honor the victims of the school shooting and show support for the Parkland, Florida, community by wearing the hats.

The caps will be authenticated, autographed and auctioned on their website from Friday, Feb.
