The Baltimore Orioles and Boston Red Sox will play next year in the MLB Little League Classic, Major League Baseball, the players union and Little League International announced Wednesday.
The Orioles will be the home team on Sunday, Aug. 23. 2020 but the game will be played at Historic Bowman Field in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, not far from the home of the Little League World Series. The game will air nationally on ESPN's "Sunday Night Baseball."
“Participating in next year’s Little League Classic is a tremendous honor for our club,” Baltimore Orioles Executive Vice President and General Manager Mike Elias said in a statement.
