The Orioles headed into Chicago to take on the White Sox for the final time this season. While trying to hold off the Blue Jays in the AL East, the O’s looked to take some games against a struggling White Sox team.
Game One: Orioles: 7, White Sox: 5
Yovani Gallardo got the start for the Orioles and pitched a very decent ballgame. Gallardo went six innings allowing two runs on seven hits while striking out three and walking only one. The three addition runs for the Sox came against Darren O’Day, who was charged with three earned runs on the night.
