In that spirit, a roster move ahead of Thursday’s series finale against the Twins: Reliever Matt Bowman has been designated for assignment, with reliever Colin Selby recalled from Triple-A Norfolk in the process.
It’s a sign of how bad things are for the Orioles lately that Bowman, with a 5.19 ERA after appearing in 16 games, should maybe have been the third in line for removal from the O’s pitching staff.
