The Tides won the first of two against the RailRiders behind the strength of three hits and four RBI off Chance Sisco’s bat. Chris Dickerson hit a homerun and every Norfolk player had a hit except for Logan Schafer.
Gabriel Ynoa (2-8, 7.14) got the win, going five innings and giving up four hits and a run.

Alex Asher pitched five innings and was charged with two runs and eight hits for Norfolk. Logan Verrett (2-3) took the loss pitching less than an inning and yielding a double and game winning walk-off single.
