The Orioles made a series of roster moves on Friday, including placing right-hander Miguel Gonzalez on the disabled list. The club also reinstated fellow righty Mike Wright from his stint on the DL and recalled outfielder Junior Lake and right-handed pitcher Jorge Rondon from Triple-A Norfolk.
The 31-year-old Gonzalez, who most recently pitched on Aug. 31, is 9-11 with a 4.85 ERA over 25 starts this season. He completed six innings only once over his past seven starts, all while going 1-6 with a 7.46 ERA during that span.
