In an extra inning affair, the Knights came out on top over the Tides by one run. Norfolk was leading this game 4-2 going into the ninth inning when Jhan Marinez gave up a double and a home run after getting two consecutive ground ball outs to start the inning. Jason Gurka gave up the winning run in the bottom of the tenth on a line drive single to left fielder D.J. Stewart.
Mark Trumbo, with Norfolk on his rehab assignment, led off for the Tides and went 2 for 5 with a double and two RBI.
