This was not the finest showing for either team’s pitching staff. Yefrey Ramirez started for Norfolk, but he didn’t last too lone (3.1 innings, seven hits, three walks, three strikeouts and six runs). Donnie Hart delivered a scoreless inning out of the bullpen, but Jhan Marinez blew the save in the top of the seventh inning.
Alex Presley had an impressive showing at the plate, going 3-for-4 with two doubles, two runs scored and an RBI. Garabeza Rosa added two hits and four RBI. Michael Saunders walked three times, and Joey Rickaed racked up a double and two RBI.
