The Tides made it two wins in a row over the IronPigs on Wednesday night with an impressive offensive showing. Alex Presley and Reuben Tejada each went 2-for-5. But the star of the night was Andrew Susac, who was a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI and two walks. Garabez Rosa added a solo home run and D.J. Stewart went 1-for-5 with an RBI.
Recent O’s call-up Yefrey Ramirez struggled a bit, allowing four runs on four hits, three walks and seven strikeouts in 5.2 innings. Tanner Scott threw a scoreless inning out of the bullpen with two hits and two strikeouts.
