It took some extra frames for a couple of Orioles affiliates on Mother's Day. Though it took a while, there was some good news, or at least for one affiliate.
Durham (Rays) 6, Norfolk Tides 4 (13 innings)
The Tides scored a run in the eleventh inning to take the lead but surrendered the tying run once again to send the game into more extra innings. Pedro Beato had the blown save in the 11th as well as the loss in the 13th. Tough break. Durham's backup catcher, Mayo Acosta, ended up being the pitcher of record after he pitched the 13th inning.
