The Orioles' minor league affiliates were winless on Thursday, and they repeated that feat on Friday. It was especially ugly this time around; only Bowie managed to score even a single run. The four teams combined hit zero homers. It was bad.
Hagerstown had four hits in this game and won. Cory Jones got the start and took the loss after allowing just one run over five innings. I have never heard of Cory Jones, but he went to "College of the Canyons", which sounds awesome. Garrett Cleavinger, last year's third round pick, took over for Jones and had 3 impressive innings, allowing just one hit and one walk while striking out five.
