It was another exciting week on the Orioles’ farm, with a number of prospects flashing their potential even as three of the four affiliates lost their series. The Birds’ top two picks from this month’s draft, Colton Cowser and Connor Norby, signed their contracts and reported to Sarasota to work out, with the expectation they’ll join Delmarva later this season. In the meantime, the Orioles’ current top prospect continued to show the world why he’s a force to be reckoned with, even as the front office inexplicably leaves him stuck in Double-A.
