Norfolk used a five run sixth inning to pick up the one-run win. Tyler Nevin launched a three-run homer, and J.C. Escarra followed with a two-run shot to cap the big inning. Nevin finished 2-3 and also worked a walk.
Rylan Bannon went 2-4 from the leadoff spot, and Yusniel Diaz drove in Norfolk’s first run with a single in the second. Adley Rutschman finished 0-5 with two strikeouts.
Ofelky Peralta allowed three runs in the bottom of the first but quickly settled in. Peralta did not allow another run and struck out 9 over 4.1 innings.
