Tides starter Bruce Zimmermann went 5.1 innings, allowing six hits, four runs (three earned), three walks, eight strikeouts and one home run. His Norfolk ERA is now 5.87. It was 2.58 in 18 appearances with Bowie earlier in the year.
Jimmy Yacabonis had 1.2 scoreless innings behind Zimmermann and Tanner Scott threw a scoreless inning without allowing any base runners.
