Mickey Jannis was roughed up here, allowing six runs on nine hits, a walk, and three strikeouts over four innings. His season ERA jumped more than a run to 4.41. The first pitcher out of the bullpen, Claudio Custodio, gave up four runs in two innings, but all four were unearned due to a fielding error by Norfolk centerfielder Yusniel Diaz. Shawn Armstrong and Fernando Abad tossed a scoreless inning each while Eric Hanhold served up one run in his single inning of work.
