Orioles minor league recap 7/13: Bowie comes back late, Delmarva scores big in win

You don’t win many games when you only score one run, and that’s what the Tides did last night. They had 10 hits, including three doubles, but couldn’t string them together. Leadoff man Cedric Mullins went 1-for-5 with a double and scored the Tides’ only run. Luis Sardinas and Mike Yastrzemski had two-hit games with lil’ Yaz picking up a double.

Matt Wotherspoon made the start for the Tides and failed to complete five innings. He was pulled with two outs in the fifth after issuing a walk 91st pitch of the game. His final line was 4.
