Orioles minor league recap 5/25: Delmarva continues their run of excellence

Shortstop Mason McCoy stayed hot at the plate for Bowie, going 3-for-5 with an RBI from the leadoff spot to raise his average to .397. Austin Hays started in right field and batted third, going 1-for-4 with a walk, an RBI, three strikeouts and a stolen base. First baseman Preston Palmeiro went 3-for-4 but is still hitting under .200. Catcher Martin Cervenka hit his second home run of the year, a solo shot in the seventh inning to give Bowie a little insurance.

Marcos Molina got the win for the Baysox by throwing seven innings of one-run ball with four hits, two walks and five strikeouts.
