Keegan Akin started on the mound for the Tides and took the loss, serving up four runs (three earned) on five hits, three walks and seven strikeouts over 3.2 innings. Matt Wotherspoon followed with 2.1 no-hit innings out of the bullpen. Jimmy Yacabonis and Jay Flaa followed and both allowed two runs in 1.1 and 1.2 innings, respectively.
DJ Stewart continued raking at the plate with a 3-for-4 performance that included a triple and two RBI. Ryan Mountcastle had a double in four at-bats. Cedric Mullins went 1-for-3. while Chance Sisco was 2-for-3.
