Pitching was not exactly stellar on this night for the Tides, who allowed 17 Jacksonville runners to get on base and 10 of them to score. Starter Kyle Brnovich absorbed the bulk of the damage with eight runs allowed (seven earned) in his five innings of work. On the bright side, a rehabbing Andrew Kittredge tossed a scoreless inning of relief and could be ready to join the Orioles soon. The season is saved!
Only two Norfolk batters got hits, with Dylan Beavers and TT Bowens collecting two apiece. The rest of the Tides lineup was a combined 0-for-21, including an 0-for-3 performance from Coby Mayo.
