The Baysox managed only three hits in their shutout loss to the Seawolves. Nick Ramirez, a 29-year-old minor leaguer, blanked Bowie through six innings, before Anthony Castro finished them off.
Yusniel Diaz, Ademar Rifaela and Jesmuel Valentin recorded the three hits for Bowie. The Baysox did not record an extra base hit.
Tyler Herb took the loss for the Baysox. In 4.2 innings, he allowed all five of Erie’s runs on eight base hits. He did manage to strike out seven in the contest. Zach Muckenhirn finished off the fifth inning before tossing a scoreless sixth, and Pedro Araujo threw two scoreless frames.
