At his kitchen counter in Georgia, J.J. Roddenberry was overwhelmed when his parents presented him with a ticket to the Orioles at Atlanta Braves game June 24. He held his head in his hands, saying, “No, no, no, no.”
His father, James Roddenberry Jr., recorded his bewildered son’s reaction in two short clips.
“And who are you going to go for?” asked his mother.
“Not the Braves?”
“No.”
One can only imagine how he’s reacting now.
The video reached Machado, who is inviting the younger Roddenberry to join the Orioles during batting practice.
