The Baltimore Orioles came into Sunday hoping for a four-game series split with the Boston Red Sox after losing the first two games of the series. The Orioles could not come away with a win and have lost three in a row.
Ryan Mountcastle got the Orioles on the board in the bottom of the first with an RBI single to score Trey Mancini to take a 1-0 lead.
