Orioles Deal Dylan Bundy For 4 Prospects

The Baltimore Orioles have parted ways with former first-round draft pick Dylan Bundy.

The Orioles traded the starting pitcher to the Los Angeles Angels for four prospects.

Bundy was among the longest-tenured players on the team's roster. The Orioles drafted him No. 4 overall in 2011 out of Owasso High School in Owasso, Oklahoma.

He made his Major League Baseball debut with a pair of appearances in 2012. However, the following year, he needed Tommy John surgery. He was shut down again in 2015 after experiencing calcification in his shoulder. Out of minor league options, he made the 25-man active roster out of spring training in 2016.
