Sometimes, there’s not much you can say about a baseball game. Some days just end up being disasters and there’s not much else that needs to be said. Today, for the Orioles, the Thursday afternoon affair in Detroit most certainly falls into that category.
If something could have gone right for the Tigers offense on this day, it did. Alex Cobb wasn’t able to get anything going and in a game in which the Orioles offense actually produced (14 hits), there were no pitching postives to speak of. Ultimately, it was one this team will have to forget about and wipe from memory.
