Georgia Angelos, the wife of Peter Angelos, released a statement in the last 30 minutes, saying she wants to set the record straight in light of what she calls "false and painful claims" in the lawsuit her son Louis Angelos has filed her and her son John Angelos.
Georgia Angelos maintains that she was appointed sole controlling trustee of the trust and she appointed John Angelos as chairman and CEO of the Orioles in 2020 and she stands by him and his leadership.
