We are now two days from Orioles players being in Baltimore to pick back up with what it’s easiest to call spring training 2.0 even though it isn’t spring any more. The beginning of the abbreviated regular season is, for the O’s, 25 days away from today. Or at least that’s what is planned at present.
The past weekend did have one deadline for teams, in that they had to name candidates for their secondary pool of players that will eventually form an expanded roster of up to 60 players for the 2020 season.
