Mancini, Rickard homer on back-to-back pitches

BALTIMORE -- On Trey Mancini bobblehead night at Camden Yards Saturday, the left fielder was received hearty applause when he stepped up to the plate in the second inning.

That applause was one-upped five pitches later, when he sent an 86.7-mph splitter from Rays starter Ryne Stanek a projected 395 feet, according to Statcast™, to left to give the Orioles a 2-1 lead.

The cheering didn't stop any time soon, as on the next pitch, Joey Rickard blasted a 98-mph fastball 386 feet, per Statcast™, to left to increase the Orioles' lead to 3-1.
