Orioles shortstop J.J. Hardy is heading to the disabled list with a groin injury, according to multiple reports on Monday.
According to the Baltimore Sun, Hardy said after Sunday's game that he would be going on the DL with a sore left groin he's been dealing with for days.
Hardy expected to get an MRI on Monday to determine the severity of the issue.
"I understand the position we are in. I don't want to be having the same talk we just had. 'Is it going to be better tomorrow? Is it going to be better in two days?
