The Orioles go into Thursday’s series opener in Seattle with 55 homers this month. They already own a share of the major league record for the most homers in June but they have one game to make that and another record their own.
The Orioles trail the record for most home runs hit in any month by three, but if you take into account the four homers that were taken away from the O’s this month by home-run robbing catches, the Orioles would already own the record.
Instead, they will have to work a little harder for it on Thursday, their final game of the month.
