In today’s edition of “where is Jorge Mateo” the answer is right field. Mateo has already played second base, shortstop, third base and left field since Baltimore picked him up a few weeks ago. The apparent utility man will bat seventh tonight.
Cedric Mullins will take his usual place in center field. Austin Hays will round out the outfield in left. Anthony Santander remains sidelined with a sore ankle.
Ryan Mountcastle gets the nod at first base with Trey Mancini sliding into the DH role. Ramón Urías will play second base, while Richie Martin handles shortstop. Maikel Franco is a third, and Pedro Severino will catch Keegan Akin.
