There are now 83 days remaining until Orioles Opening Day. As we all know that the Orioles last won the World Series in 1983, this is surely a good sign. I don't know what it's a good sign for, though. Just go with me here, okay.
On top of that, there are 39 days remaining until pitchers and catchers report to spring training. A lot can still happen in 39 days time, and of course there's always the possibility of signings happening after pitchers and catchers are required to report.
But - and I'm sorry for sounding like a broken record - the Orioles don't have forever to play this waiting game with free agents or even with other teams regarding whether they will or won't trade Manny Machado.
