It was kind of nice to have a break from the Orioles for a while, wasn’t it? I mean, I know they’re our favorite baseball team and all, but they’re also just, like, the worst. We watch them, but do we really enjoy it?
In any case, they’re back in action tonight to begin their post-All-Star schedule, starting with a six-game road trip through Kansas City and Tampa Bay. At 28-61, the O’s are currently on pace to finish 51-111, and frankly that feels optimistic. Their rotation is a trainwreck. Their bullpen has, at most, one reliable pitcher.
