Elias: Orioles 'Open For Business' In Offseason

As Baltimore Orioles general manager Mike Elias heads to San Diego for winter meetings, the Orioles roster is poised to look very different in 2020.

In the past few days, the team traded infielder Jonathan Villar to the Miami Marlins and veteran starting pitcher Dylan Bundy to the Los Angeles Angels.

"We really like the pitchers we got back, but speaking more broadly, I mean, we're in a transitional period right now. We're trying to add to our talent base in the organization, position the organization for the future and trading a couple of very productive veteran players, especially a guy like Dylan, who's been with this organization ever since he turned professional in 2011, you know, it's tough," Elias told Brett Hollander.
