"It's awesome to be able to be here," said Drake, who got the call Friday night and flew into Miami on Saturday. "There's a lot of guys in this clubhouse that I've played with or got drafted with that I know, and there's a lot of people in this organization that I know and put in a lot of hard work with. ... It's special to [debut] with the team you were drafted with."
Drake, who was placed on the O's 40-man roster this offseason, will wear No. 71.
"He'll command the fastball -- go strike one and jump at you," manager Buck Showalter said.
