The Orioles have made more news this Friday morning.
They've posted a video to announce that Adam Jones will retire as an Oriole on Sept.15.
Jones has spent 11 seasons with the Orioles.
He last played for his team in 2018 before leaving under less than pleasant circumstances, but after playing out his career in Arizona and Japan, Jones and the Orioles reconciled.
A couple of weeks ago, Jones was wearing a blow-up flamingo and floaties while he sprayed fans in the splash zone at Camden yards.
Now comes word that he will go out, officially, as an Oriole.
