Once Craig Albernaz was hired to be the next manager of the Baltimore Orioles, it seemed like a foregone conclusion that Tony Mansolino would not be back with the organization. Mansolino replaced Brandon Hyde after his hiring in May and gained the respect of Baltimore's clubhouse. That said, it would have been an awkward marriage had he remained on the team's coaching staff after not landing the permanent job. The good news for Mansolino is that he didn't have to wait long for his next job.
The Braves revealed part of their 2026 coaching staff under first-year manager Walt Weiss, and Mansolino will be serving as the team's third base coach.
